Breastfeeding support, in East Lothian, for mother and baby.
Bumpfit provides one to one breastfeeding support in your own home. Bumpfit is based in East Lothian and run by experienced, practising midwife Fiona Boswell.
Bumpfit formally offered Aquanatal classes, in East Lothian, for pregnant women. I am now teaching aquanatal as a coach for Enjoyleisure in East Lothian.
I am a practising midwife in Edinburgh and have been working in both the hospital and community for the past 10 years. I have attended homebirths, worked extensively in breastfeeding clinics and worked as an independent midwife. I now live in East Lothian.
I have been specialising in one to one breastfeeding support for women and babies. I am experienced to help with the common problems that blight the early days of parenthood such as nipple pain, poor latch and much more. Ongoing support for arising problems to help establish and maintain a happy, painfree, nourishing breastfeeding experience.
I am also really into keeping fit and healthy, something that was invaluable when I was pregnant with my 3 children. I went to aquanatal classes and it helped me feel lighter and revived for days afterwards. It is a form of exercise that midwives recommend to pregnant women because it is safe and great for one’s wellbeing.
I now offer aquanatal classes tas a coach for EnjoyLiesure in North Berwick and Haddington.
I hold a midwifery recognized aquanatal instructor certificate with the company Professional Fitness and Education. This allows me to teach safe and effective
aquanatal classes for pregnant women.
My public liability insurance is with Bridle Insurance Brokers (policy number B23/00050706)
Please ask for details of my training and insurance if it gives you peace of mind…I don’t mind!
